Millennium
A period of one thousand years.
Bimillennium
A period of two thousand years.
Trimillennium
A period of three thousand years.
Decamillennium
A period of ten thousand years. [invented by YUCK]
Hectocentennial
A period of one hundred centuries. Equivalent to Decamillennium. [invented by YUCK]
Holocene
The current geologic epoch, extending from approximately 10,000 to 11,000 year ago to the present.
Currently the holocene is approximately a 10,000 year period, but by the year 10000 the
holocene epoch will have been approximately 20,000 years long.
Less than 8,003 years until January 1, 10000!
